How to maintain and clean my rug?

You need to follow some important steps to maintain your rug and keep it cleaned.

  • Frequently vacuum your rug in different directions and only in a low-power setting without the beater brush
  • Keep rotating your rug to extend its life
  • Keep your rugs away from direct sunlight and avoid continuous exposure
  • Try to snip any thread with scissors instead of pulling them out
  • Treat any stain as quickly as possible by blotting it with a clean, dry cloth before it dries up
  • Get your rug cleaned by only reputed rug experts
  • Do not worry if your rug sheds for the first 3-6 months. This is natural and will diminish over time
  • Avoid flattening piles by using rug protectors under the legs of your heavy furniture
  • Do not fold your rugs. Roll it front-side-out wrapping it in a cloth to protect it
  • Avoid placing the rug near damp surfaces

What is the difference between rugs and carpets?

Traditionally carpets are floor coverings that run from wall to wall while rugs cover a smaller area. However, in India, both rugs and carpets mean the same thing.

What defects classify as manufacturing defects?

Here’s a list of manufacturing defects that you need to look out for after receiving the product:

• Colour cut visible through the rug

• Torn edge binding

• Backing is stained or torn

• The entire pile is coming off the carpet

• Carpet shape is skewed and not perfectly rectangle or there is buckling when placed flat on the ground

• Design is cut

Where are Neytt rugs made?

Neytt rugs are made in our manufacturing facilities in Kerala, Panipat, Mirzapur and Bhadohi.

Does Neytt provide free shipping?

We offer free shipping pan-India. We also provide worldwide shipping with additional duties and taxes that needs to be paid to the shipping company at the time of delivery.

If I send photos of my room, will you be able to suggest good rugs?

Of course! Just email us your room’s pictures and our design consultant will get in touch with you about the best products for your space.

Can I place an order over the phone?

Can I track my order?

We will keep you updated about the order status at every step of the shipping process through emails. If you still have questions, you can reach out to us via email or phone.

How can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order by calling us at +919188188881 or emailing us at inquiry@neytt.com. Please note, that order cancellation will be accepted only before the shipment has been dispatched. Our shipments are usually dispatched within 2-3 days of ordering online.

Once your order is cancelled, the refund shall be initiated and it should reflect in your account within 7-10 working days through the original mode of payment. This may vary from payment source/bank to bank. Sometimes banks may take up to 14 days in case of any issue.

How will I know if my order is confirmed?

Once you have placed your order successfully, you will receive notifications via email and text message.

When will I receive my order?

Although we aim to dispatch all our orders within 48 business hours, the delivery time still varies based on the product. You will receive the product within 10 business days of ordering it. In case of pre-orders or custom orders, the time depends on the type of rug and you would be notified prior to placing the order.
